Without a doubt, the great hidden gem of the city. The second national art gallery hangs on its walls some of the best pictorial and sculptural works of all time. The building -the old convent of La Merced- its patios, its staircase… is in itself a treasure worth visiting. Among other pictorial works in the Museum, it is worth mentioning the fabulous San Jerónimo by Torrigiano, the Zurbaranes collection, the paintings by Valdés Leal, the fabulous set of the Capuchin Convent by Murillo -the only one that is preserved almost completely in Seville-, passing for all the first level works of the European baroque such as those of Prety and, of course, the entire collection of paintings from the 19th century and the 20th century.
